São Lourenço do Barrocal Dark Beer with Carob / Cerveja Artesanal Preta com Alfarroba

Born from the desire to make the most of what nature offers, faced with an abundance of carob on the estate, we challenged HOPSIN, an artisan producer and our long-standing partner for beer making, to turn this fruit into beer. The result is an American-style dark porter, drawing notes of cocoa and chocolate from the carob, with a light earthy touch. Silky in texture and robust in flavour, it has an inviting finish that makes it perfect alongside meats, cheeses, and even desserts.

Nascida da vontade de aproveitar o que a natureza nos oferece, perante a abundância de alfarrobas na herdade, desafiámos a HOPSIN, produtor artesanal e parceiro de longa data do Barrocal, a transformar este fruto em cerveja. O resultado é uma porter escura de estilo americano, que retira da alfarroba notas de cacau e chocolate, com um ligeiro toque terroso. De textura sedosa e sabor robusto, tem um final envolvente que a torna perfeita para acompanhar carnes, queijos, e até sobremesas.
