In line with the entire philosophy of our hotel and "monte" alentejano, our store brings together the work of dozens of artisans, from the most contemporary to the most experienced, who are able, like no one else, to convey the cultural identity of Portugal, as a whole, and Alentejo in particular. From the traditional ceramics from São Pedro do Corval and Redondo (many of them made exclusively for us) to the wool creations of the historic Fábrica Alentejana de Lanifícios, there is no shortage of solutions to literally take a little of the Alentejo with you.
Then there is everything that is born, grown and transformed in these fertile lands of schist and clay: our wines and olive oils, honey, teas and even the best fruits and vegetables that come directly from our organic garden every day, the ideal solution for those who want to prepare a quick snack during their stay or give their loved ones a taste of what Barrocal is and does.
This online store is an extension of all of this: a house without walls or borders, curated by the hotel, where we bring together the best of the best we have to show. From our favorite decor elements to our wine, olive oil and more. Lose yourself in these pages the same way you would in the Alentejo plains and olive groves, in the hope that in both cases you will feel equally happy.
Bem no centro do São Lourenço do Barrocal vai encontrar a nossa loja, o antigo galinheiro e pombal desta herdade com mais de 200 anos, junto à vila medieval de Monsaraz, que hoje tornou-se o sítio privilegiado para conhecer todos os produtos aqui cultivados assim uma seleção curada daquilo que melhor é feito em Portugal.
Em linha com toda a filosofia do nosso hotel e monte alentejano, a nossa loja reúne o trabalho de dezenas de artesãos, dos mais contemporâneos aos mais experientes, que conseguem, como ninguém, transmitir o valor cultural e identitário de Portugal, num todo, e do Alentejo, em particular. Das cerâmicas tradicionais de São Pedro do Corval e do Redondo (muitas delas feitas em exclusivo para nós) às criações em lã da histórica Fábrica Alentejana de Lanifícios, não faltam soluções para literalmente levar um pouco do Alentejo consigo.
Depois há ainda tudo aquilo que nasce, cresce e é transformado nestas terras férteis de xisto e barro: os nossos vinhos e azeites, mel, chás e ainda as melhores frutas e legumes que chegam diretamente da nossa horta biológica. A solução ideal para quem queira preparar um petisco rápido durante a sua estadia ou dar a provar à sua família e amigos um pouco daquilo que o Barrocal é e faz.
